For generations, millions of faithful Christians have been misled to believe that civic engagement is unspiritual, divisive, and “of the world.” This has resulted in a Church that faithfully gathers on Sunday while often remaining absent the rest of the week from the decisions that shape families, communities, schools, and our nation.
Estimates show tens of millions of Christians refuse to vote. If a fraction of these believers were to join with current voting Christians and they combined to vote for Biblical values, Christians would become a voting bloc that could thrust its voice on all political parties.
Instead, too many Christians are allowing secularists to rule over them.
R.O.A.R. was founded to challenge that mindset. We believe Christians are called not only to proclaim the Gospel, but also to faithfully live out their convictions in every sphere of life, including civics, government and politics.

Our Vision
R.O.A.R. envisions a future where tens of millions of apathetic Christians are motivated to become informed, engaged citizens who faithfully represent Christ in every sphere of society.
That means unintimidated churches equipped to lead discourse and civic responsibility. The Church reclaims its position as the cultural pillar of society.
This vision includes believers, from any Nicene Creed affirming denomination, understanding that voting is not merely a political act, but an opportunity to steward the influence God has entrusted to them.
It means communities strengthened by family values, biblical truth, faithful citizenship, and courageous leadership.
What Makes R.O.A.R. Different?
Other organizations exist with the goal of recruiting more Christian voters. However, they’re passive. They expect uninterested believers to come to them.
Meanwhile, R.O.A.R. puts boots on the ground. We go to the disengaged, educate them, prepare them, and then mobilize them.
Rather than simply encouraging Christians to vote every few years, we help believers understand why civic engagement matters, what Scripture teaches about public life, and how they can faithfully be salt of the earth and help make life better for their families and neighbors.
And while other organizations are timid and easily offended, R.O.A.R. shouts its faith from the mountain top. We peacefully, respectfully, but aggressively challenge secularists, Islamicists, feminists, and weak Christians who acquiesce to the ways of the world. R.O.A.R. is unapologetic about making His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
R.O.A.R. is also dedicated to uniting all Nicene Creed affirming Christians, regardless of denomination, under one voice. And that voice will cry out for traditional, Biblical, family values.
Our goal isn’t simply higher voter turnout among believers. Our aim is a culture of lifelong civic engagement in the name of the Anointed One.
How We Do It
We believe lasting change begins in the local church. One congregation at a time.
Through invitation-based church events, educational resources, leadership development, voter registration efforts, and ongoing civic education, R.O.A.R. equips Christians with practical tools to engage their communities while remaining grounded in biblical truth.
Here is our model:
- R.O.A.R. storms churches with bold biblical teaching about Christians’ civic duties under Christ
- so that we can register voters and train crusaders in every congregation
- so that those crusaders can educate their congregations on biblical ethics and policy
- so that congregations become mobilized to vote and engage in grassroots lobbying with their elected officials
- so that anti-Christian laws are blocked and Christian laws are advanced
- so that we restore righteous governance under Christ
- so that His rightful rule is honored and the Church roars in every sphere.

What We Believe
At R.O.A.R., our work is guided by foundational convictions that must not be compromised:
- Jesus Christ is Lord over every area of life.
- Scripture provides timeless principles for both personal conduct and public responsibility.
- Christians are called to be salt and light in every sphere of society.
- Faithful citizenship is one way believers love their neighbors and seek the good of their communities.
- The local church remains God’s primary instrument for discipleship and cultural influence.
- R.O.A.R. rejects the myth of the separation of Church and State. Furthermore, we dismiss teachings of some congregations that insist Christians are to avoid engagement of “worldly politics.” And the Bible buttresses that stance.
A Biblical Foundation for Civic Engagement:
Genesis 1:28 (ESV)
“And God blessed them. And God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’”
Humanity, made in God’s image, is commanded to exercise responsible dominion, subduing and stewarding creation, a mandate that extends to ordering society and governance under His rule.
Psalm 2:10–12 (ESV)
“Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.”
This directly addresses political rulers, commanding them to submit to God. It supports the idea that Christians have a role in calling leaders to account and engaging in politics.
Proverbs 29:2 (ESV)
“When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.”
Silence empowers the wicked. Righteous involvement brings rejoicing and restrains evil rule.
Isaiah 1:17 (ESV)
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow’s cause.”
God commands His people to actively pursue justice and fight oppression in society. This is a clear biblical mandate for civic engagement and working to make governing systems more righteous.
Matthew 5:13–16 (ESV)
“You are the salt of the earth… You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden… let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
Believers are called to preserve society as salt and illuminate truth as light in the public square, not hide in isolation.
Acts 17:22–31 (ESV, key excerpt)
“So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: ‘Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious… The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent, because he has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed…’”
Paul boldly enters the civic and political center of Athens to confront idolatry and call leaders and citizens to repentance. It models Christians engaging the public square with truth.
Romans 13:1–4 (ESV)
“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God… for he is God’s servant for your good.”
Civil authority is God’s institution; we engage to ensure it serves justice, never surrendering it to wickedness.

Why the Name “R.O.A.R.”?
R.O.A.R. stands for Revival of the Anointed’s Rule.
The lion has long represented courage, authority, and strength. Scripture identifies Jesus Christ as “the Lion of the tribe of Judah” (Revelation 5:5).
Our name reflects our conviction that Christ’s lordship is not confined to Sunday mornings or church buildings. His truth speaks to every area of life, including our homes, our communities, our city halls, our state capitals and all the way to Washington D.C.
We believe Christians were never meant to whisper.
We believe it’s time for the Church to R.O.A.R.
